We give you 3 reasons why you should not to drink commercial fruit juice 2017

One of the best sources of  Vitamin C is orange and for people who feel it is too much work to peel an orange and eat it, a glass of orange juice is the perfect substitute. All you do is go to the grocery store and buy your favorite brand of orange juice and then bring it home, put it in the fridge and drink as and when needed. There is much emphasis given on drinking juice instead of sugary soft drinks, but you will be shocked to know that you must not drink the store brought, commercial juice at all. We have 3 reasons for you to not do so.

1-Commercial fruit juice is full of sugar

Whichever juice you like and buy from the store in a container or in a bottle is essentially lots of sugar going into your system when you drink it. Since they need to preserve it and maintain the taste of the juice, despite advertising no sugar added, they added sugar substitutes in them. These substitutes have fructose in them which is even more harmful. Dr. Jonny Bowden says, “Fructose creates insulin resistance and significantly raises triglycerides (a risk factor for heart disease). It also increases fat around the middle which in turn puts you at greater risk for diabetes, heart disease and metabolic syndrome.” Pomegranate juice has 45 grams of sugar per 12 ounce serving and Orange juice has 30 grams of sugar per 12 ounce serving.

2-It has little to no fiber

If you drink too much of commercial and store brought juice, you can run a real risk of increasing the chances of heart and kidney disease along with diabetes. Since the bottled juice doesn’t have any fiber in it, the carbohydrates in the juice are derived directly from the fructose. Enough fructose in your system can build up insulin resistance and this can easily result in Type II diabetes and in serious circumstances, even heart disease. Some recent studies have this lack of fiber makes the liver to store more and more fat, which may lead to problems such as accumulation of dangerous visceral fat.

3-It is not fresh as advertised

Well the ultra fresh juice advertised is not exactly fresh. Fresh means juice that is squeezed right in front of your eyes. Instead your glass of Orange juice is squeezed from 12 different oranges which may include both good and bad oranges and many impurities. Also these juices have something called flavor packs mixed in them. Oils and essences are extracted from oranges and given to manufacturer who makes a chemical based flavor pack to add to the juice to maintain the taste of fruit in the juice.
