6 Habits You Should Change To Feel Way Less Stressed 2017

We”ve all been really stressed out at some point in our lives.

Some people just have a few really stressful moments throughout their entire life, while others deal with stress their non-stop.

Here are 6 habits worth changing if you’re looking for ways to feel less stressed!

1. Procrastination

Procrastinating can cause us to have sooo much stress. I know, because I do this all the time.

Try doing things that need to be done right away instead of waiting a few days or weeks.

Usually procrastinating on one thing doesn’t cause that much stress, but when you start adding multiple things it could get pretty bad.

2. Being Late

Being late can cause a tremendous amount of stress.

When I look at my own life, I see that I mostly get stressed because I try to rush things at the last minute, that could result in me arriving somewhere late, or on time but completely stressed out.

Try – if you for example are going out for dinner with a friend – being prepared a while in advance. Let’s say an hour, so that you don’t have to do anything anymore last minute and you can pretty much leave at a time you wish to leave at.

3. Multitasking

We live in a world where so much is expected of us all the time.

Try to relax, and do one thing at a time.

Usually when we multitask, the quality of the task performed will suffer.

Do one thing at a time and chances are you’ll actually do it decently, not stressed out and will feel satisfied by nailing goals or tasks in a good, stressless way.

4. Slow Down

We’re all on super speed nowadays.

It’s okay to slow down. Even if that sometimes means you’ll be late for an appointment.

I’ve seen people get so stressed out because they think they’ll be late, where to move so fast and drive so fast that it’s kind of scary.

Slow down, it’s okay to be late. It’s not worth crashing your car. That will not only give you the stress of being late somewhere, but also the stress of dealing with a crashed car, insurance, and maybe even hospital bills.

5. Your Job

In most cases, your job is your biggest stressor.

After all, we spend most of our days at work. So if there’s a reason you’re stressed out, chances are high that it has something to do with your job.

It’s okay to quit your job if you are very unhappy and stressed out all the time.

Sometimes, if not all the time, your health and body are more important then money and a job.

6. Be Grateful

Showing gratitude is a positive thinking attitude that eliminates any negative thinking that could cause you to be stressed out.

May not be something you’d think of yourself, but it’s definitely worth giving a try as it’s one of the easiest things to change.

There you have it. 6 Ways to feel less stressed!
