The taxi hailing giant in Pakistan is taking another initiative in the country by offering jobs to women drivers.
Now the women drivers will also be available at Careem taxi hailing services. The Careem taxi driven by women will pick up both male and female customers.
Careem will first introduce the women driven taxi haling service in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad. Th General Manager at Careem Pakistan, Ahmed Usman said that they want to offer same opportunities and same chance to women to earn healthy income.
He said that the company has appointed 7 qualified women drivers for their taxi haling services in the country and company is looking for to make further appointments as they receive applications.
Careem is the largest taxi haling giant that is offering its services in most of the 32 cities in the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan region in which it operates.
